From intimate birthday dinners to full venue weddings, we love bringing people together at Yamba Distilling Co. Our cellar door is one of Yamba's most unique event spaces — a working distillery with coastal character, great gin, and room for a proper celebration.

What we offer

Weddings & ceremonies

Say "I do" somewhere a little different. The YDC gin garden is an intimate and beautiful setting for ceremonies and receptions, surrounded by the warmth of a working distillery. We work with you to create an experience that feels personal — not packaged.

Whether you're planning a relaxed coastal celebration or something a little more dressed up, we'll help you make it yours.

Private parties & milestone celebrations

Birthdays, engagements, retirements, baby showers, hens & bucks parties... or just a great excuse to get the people you love in one place. YDC is the kind of venue that does the talking for you.

Corporate events & functions

Looking for something beyond the usual function room? YDC offers a relaxed, memorable setting for end-of-year parties, team celebrations, photoshoots and product launches. We can accommodate partial venue hire if you'd prefer a more intimate footprint within the space.

Venue hire: full or partial

Take over the whole place, or book a section of it. We offer:

  • Full venue hire — exclusive use of the entire YDC space, indoor and outdoor
  • Partial hire — a dedicated area within the venue, ideal for smaller groups who still want their own space

Pricing varies depending on the day, duration, and size of your event. Tell us what you have in mind and we'll put together a proposal.

Drinks

We've got the bar sorted.

Choose the option that works best for your group:

Bar tab

Set a spend amount upfront and we'll run a tab for your guests until it's reached. Perfect for events where you want to shout the first few rounds without writing a blank cheque.

Pay as you go

Guests purchase their own drinks at the bar. Great for casual get-togethers where you're not looking to host the whole thing.

Drinks packages

All packages include YDC house spirits, cocktails featuring our range, local beers, wines, and soft drinks. Minimum numbers apply.


Pricing is based on confirmed guest numbers and event type. Minimum spend may apply for exclusive hire.

Food, decorations & extras

We take care of the drinks — you bring the rest.

The YDC cellar door has stone-baked pizzas and picnic boards on the menu, perfect for relaxed event grazing. That said, we're a distillery not a restaurant, so we're not set up to be the sole catering solution for large groups or formal dining.

For anything beyond our in-house menu, we don't provide catering, decorations or entertainment — but we know people who do. We work with a trusted crew of local vendors across catering, styling, floristry, live music and more, and we're happy to make the introductions.

Already have your own people in mind? Brilliant — just let us know when you enquire and we'll work with them.

A few things worth knowing:

  • External catering needs to be confirmed with us ahead of your event
  • You're very welcome to bring in a cake or dessert
  • Some decorations are absolutely fine — we'll let you know what works in the space
  • Live music and entertainment are welcome — chat to us and we'll advise on what suits the venue

A few things worth knowing before you enquire:

A deposit is required to secure your date. Responsible Service of Alcohol applies at all times — our team is RSA trained and reserves the right to cease service where required. Guest numbers must be confirmed no later than 7 days prior to your event. We can accommodate a range of accessibility needs, please let us know in your enquiry. All events are subject to YDC's standard terms and conditions, which will be provided in full prior to finalisation of booking.
